Richard was destined to follow in Conan Doyle’s footsteps: training in the same Medical School and living around the corner from the London house in which he wrote many of the Sherlock stories. His passion for the scientist Sherlock translated nicely into sleuthing out customer value in corporate Australia, which has been his mantra for the past four years as part of a keen group of value detectives in this key transformation program.<\/span>

Jez Humble is an author, speaker, CTO at DevOps Research and Assessment LLC, and a lecturer at UC Berkeley.<\/span><\/p>

He is the co-author of <\/span>Continuous Delivery<\/span><\/i>, the Jolt Award-winning book in Martin Fowler's signature series, as well as the books <\/span>Lean Enterprise<\/span><\/i> and <\/span>The DevOps Handbook<\/span><\/i>. Jez has spent his career tinkering with code, infrastructure, and product development and consulting in companies of varying sizes across three continents, most recently working for the US Federal Government at 18F.
