Allan Leinwand has a long spanning career in SaaS and information technology and has joined Slack from his tenured position as Chief Technology Officer for ServiceNow. Allan began his career in Cisco before founding Vyatta, which is now a subsidiary of AT&T. His expertise is focused on cloud computing, Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS), Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), Internet architectures and infrastructure.<\/p>\n

Jez Humble is an author, speaker, CTO at DevOps Research and Assessment LLC, and a lecturer at UC Berkeley.<\/span><\/p>

He is the co-author of <\/span>Continuous Delivery<\/span><\/i>, the Jolt Award-winning book in Martin Fowler's signature series, as well as the books <\/span>Lean Enterprise<\/span><\/i> and <\/span>The DevOps Handbook<\/span><\/i>. Jez has spent his career tinkering with code, infrastructure, and product development and consulting in companies of varying sizes across three continents, most recently working for the US Federal Government at 18F.
