About\u00a0Maria Shvedova<\/span><\/p>\n

From writing code to managing delivery, Maria Shvedova has spent the last fifteen years working with web services and applications. She is extremely passionate about getting things done, and done well -be that a complex large-scale system or a microsite. Having acquired broad technical experience and knowledge of best development practices in a variety of environments, Maria is now leading a team in a Digital NSW Accelerator Lab. For the last year, she’s been working on projects in partnership with the Department of Education, hoping to create better services for the people of NSW. Herding cats is not a day job, but more of a calling – so in her spare time Maria and her partner foster cats and kittens for their local animal rescue.<\/span><\/p>\n

Jez Humble is an author, speaker, CTO at DevOps Research and Assessment LLC, and a lecturer at UC Berkeley.<\/span><\/p>

He is the co-author of <\/span>Continuous Delivery<\/span><\/i>, the Jolt Award-winning book in Martin Fowler's signature series, as well as the books <\/span>Lean Enterprise<\/span><\/i> and <\/span>The DevOps Handbook<\/span><\/i>. Jez has spent his career tinkering with code, infrastructure, and product development and consulting in companies of varying sizes across three continents, most recently working for the US Federal Government at 18F.
