Using Agile to spearhead change in the healthcare industry
Join Cat and Stuart from Roche Australia as they share the unique way the Australian arm of the business has transformed including a new approach to business planning, customer engagement, organisational structure and ways of working. They’ll share the journey so far, their inspiration, their learnings and the positive impact already being experienced with partners for Australian patients.
With over 15 years experience in research and development, Catherine Drury was one of the first in the Australian Pharmaceutical industry to champion Agile ways of working. As Roche Australia’s first Agile Coach, Catherine was pivotal in driving the organisation’s Agile transformation. She continues to coach and guide numerous cross functional teams and colleagues across the Roche global network sharing her passion and knowledge for Agile ways of thinking and working.
Prior to taking on the Agile Coach role in 2019, Catherine led the operational strategy for Roche’s clinical trial programs across Asia Pacific for various diseases. In 2014 she had the opportunity to lead the operational strategy for global first-in-human research and development projects for Genentech (Roche’s USA organisation) based out of San Francisco.
Catherine is a Professional Scrum Master and a Certified Practitioner of Human-Centred Design. She holds a Bachelor of Medical Science (Honours) and recently completed her Graduate Certificate in Business.
