Even after 12 years, our best-educated guesses as to how things will play out can still leave us bamboozled!<\/p>\n Talk session lengths range from 5 minutes (Lightning Talk), 20 minutes to 40 minutes. Please keep in mind your timebox includes an introduction and thank you by an MC and any Q&A so don\u2019t waste precious time introducing yourself. Presentation rooms are set up theatre style and audiences range from 50-400. With very limited spots available we have no choice but to be very selective with the talks that make it to the final program.\n\nWhen choosing presentations, AgileAus gives preference to EOIs that fit the Conference theme well, offer a novel element, cover a gap in the topics, and are as diverse as the community we serve. Of course, this is not an exact science and many excellent EOIs that meet all these criteria still do not make it.\n\nAgileAus relies on a team of over fifty volunteers to develop potential talks and give helpful feedback at the squid tanks. When submitting an EOI, you will be asked how big you envisage your audience to be. Got a topic with broad appeal? Perhaps you\u2019ll need a big room. More niche topic? We have cosier rooms for that. Please keep in mind that due to logistical constraints we cannot promise your room will be the exact size you suggest.<\/em><\/p>\n
AgileAus20 will include some speakers who have been invited to speak by Slatterys, the organisers, to cover must-have topics or perspectives and address any gaps in the program.<\/p>\n
It is possible for sponsors to purchase presentation spots, and these talks are labelled as such on the program.<\/p>\n
Invited speakers are encouraged to participate in interactive Deep Dive sessions so attendees can pick their brains and ask any questions they have.
