Dale Towner is a Scrum Master with a passion for visual facilitation and accelerating the creation of a shared understanding within the teams and organisations he works with.<\/p>\n
Dale’s interest in Lean and Agile was sparked during an Agile transformation project where he worked closely with Agile consultants to co-design and implement that organisation’s bespoke Agile model. This experience gave Dale a deep understanding of Agile methodologies and how they can be adapted to fit the unique needs of an organisation.<\/p>\n
Dale continues to apply his Agile knowledge and skills to drive business outcomes at his current organisation. He recently connected with Fay Burthem, an experienced visual practitioner, who introduced him to the world of Sketch Noting. Dale quickly recognized the power of visual facilitation in accelerating the creation of a shared understanding and improving team collaboration and communication.<\/p>\n
Since then Dale has run a workshop on Sketch Noting with his Scrum Masters colleagues and co-hosted his first meetup in Perth with Fay Burthem and nearly 50 attendees – \u201cThe 5 Scrum Events – Understand and Sketch Note these Practices\u201d. Attendees of this engaging, interactive session attendees left with practical tips and techniques and their very own Sketch Note of the 5 Scrum ceremonies.<\/p>\n
Dale looks forward to co-presenting with Fay Burthem at AgileAus23 on \u201cHow to Sketch Note the 5 Scrum Events\u201d and is excited about the opportunity to share his knowledge and experience with a wider audience. He hopes to inspire others to explore the power of visual facilitation in Agile practices.<\/p>\n
