You will have the opportunity to chat with ThoughtWorks' Founder and Chairman Roy Singham and ThoughtWorks CTO Rebecca Parsons while enjoying gourmet finger food and drinks.

The Open Space is a dedicated place in the conference networking area that allows you to to set the agenda! If we've missed an important topic you'd like to discuss, or haven't addressed one of your burning questions, The Open Space will provide the opportunity for you to discuss any question or topic you like!
Simply write your topic, question, idea, or challenge using the cards and markers that will be available in The Open Space area and put it up on the wall. Be sure to write down the time that your discussion will be kicking off. We ask you to please group the contributions into common themes.
It's an open and collaborative space, which allows all perspectives to be heard and respected. The Open Space area at Agile Australia 2012 will be a great opportunity for you share your ideas and experiences, and learn from the experiences of others!

Lightning Talks are concise, informal mini-presentations that generate ideas and conversation points for the audience.
Lightning Talks can be on any topic and are a maximum of FIVE minutes long. The emphasis of these mini-presentations is on knowledge sharing, generating new ideas, and having fun!

The 'Press Gallery' is an opportunity for you to continue the conversation with your favourite speaker that began with their presentation. Some of our speakers have bravely agreed to make themselves available in The Open Space directly after their presentation, to continue taking questions and further discussions arising from their session.
After their formal presentation, speakers will head head over to The Open Space and continue to take questions, just like a media Press Gallery. Stay tuned for a list of participating speakers.
