ABOUT AGILE AUSTRALIA

Now in its fifth year, the Agile Australia Conference is the highlight on the Australian Agile calendar and has become a powerhouse event for thinking businesses. Agile Australia is the place for thought leaders, practitioners, and innovative business people to learn, share, and network.

The Agile approach focuses on iterative development. Little by little, collaborative teams can build solutions for their customers faster and better than before. From large enterprises like CBA, Suncorp, IBM, and Telstra; to leading Australian organisations like SEEK, Atlassian, Aconex, and Sensis, Agile is being adopted to gain better business value.

In 2012, the success of Agile Australia continued with over 850 attendees representing 196 companies, 77 speakers, and two days of real-world Agile experiences. Agile Australia 2013 promises to be as exciting and cutting-edge as ever.

In 2012, the Agile Australia conference was sponsored by ThoughtWorks, IBM, DiUS, Atlassian, Aconex and SMSMT.

An incredible range of local and overseas speakers are involved in the Agile Australia conferences, including: Roy Singham, Founder and Chairman, ThoughtWorks; James Hird, former Australian rules footballer and coach; Fiona Wood, Director, WA Burns Service; Nigel Dalton, Chief Information Officer, REA Group; Patrick Eltridge, Chief Information Officer, Telstra; and more!

As creator and manager of the Agile Australia conference, each year SlatteryIT oversees the entire event from beginning to end, including the creation of the program, speaker submission process, sponsor recruitment and management, promotion and marketing, and every aspect of execution.
