Agile Australia returns to the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre in 2016, which is located at 1 Convention Centre Place, South Wharf, Victoria, Australia (view map ). South Wharf is located on the Southbank of Melbourne’s Yarra River.

Entry Points

Clarendon Street Entrance: The Exhibition Centre entrance is located at 2 Clarendon Street, near the corner of Clarendon Street and the Yarra Promenade, opposite Crown Casino. Walk through the Exhibition Centre to enter the MCC.

Convention Centre Entrance: Enter directly into the MCC from 1 Convention Centre Place, adjacent to the Hilton South Wharf.

Taxi

Taxi drop off and pick up points are available at both entrances.

Tram

Trams 96, 112 and 109 travel down Spencer / Clarendon Streets. Alight at Stop 124A-Casino/MCEC/Clarendon Street, just outside the Exhibition Centre.

Tram numbers 35 (City Circle (Free Tourist Tram), 70 or 75 travel down Flinders Street. Alight at Stop D6-Victoria Police Centre/637 Flinders Street. Continue walking approximately 50m along Flinders Street and turn left at Wurundjeri Way. Head towards the Yarra River and across the pedestrian bridge to arrive at the MCC.

Free tram zone
Melbourne Free Tram Zone includes the area from Queen Victoria Market, across to Victoria Harbour in Docklands, up to Spring Street and over to Flinders Street Station and Federation Square.

Travel on trams within this zone is free, and you don’t need a myki, however, if your journey starts or finishes outside the boundaries of the Free Tram Zone, you must touch on your myki at the reader in the normal way to make sure you have a valid ticket. The Free Tram Zone signs at tram stops will identify the boundaries of the zone.

Train

From Southern Cross Station, exit the station onto Spencer Street and travel to the MCC via tram 96, 112, 109 or walk 900m/11 mins.

Exit Southern Cross Station onto Spencer Street walking south crossing Collins and Flinders Streets and across the Yarra River via the bridge where Spencer Street becomes Clarendon Street. You will arrive at the Clarendon Street Entrance.

From Flinders Street Station, exit the station onto Flinders Street and travel via tram 35, 70 or walk 1.6k/21 mins.

From Flinders Street Station walk west down Flinders Street passing Elizabeth and Queen Streets before turning left onto Queensbridge St. After crossing the Yarra River, cross right at the lights across Queensbridge Street towards the Yarra Promenade / Crown Casino. Continue west along the Yarra Promenade for approximately 500m to arrive at the Clarendon Street Entrance.

Parking

Underground and aboveground parking is both available at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre / South Wharf DFO with entrance and exits located via Lorimer or Montague Streets or Normanby Road.
