Lean Product Engineering – Speed to value, a principal driven approach
The past 10 years have seen a move away from the principals that defined Agile development and led to empowered teams rapidly iterating to deliver customer value. Many of the Agile frameworks now favour a prescriptive, process driven approach. Some alternatives have been posed in the product space from authors such as Eric Ries but they only address part of the problem. In this talk, Adam Boas will explore an approach that combines both lean product management and Agile delivery methodologies to give a principal driven alternative. Adam will look into how alignment and well defined purpose can provide the keys to making empowerment in teams meaningful and how highly disciplined development methodologies can provide the kind of transparency that facilitates a trust based relationship between leaders and iterating teams.
