Jenny Steadman Speaker and leadership consultant

About Jenny Steadman
Jenny Steadman is a TEDx speaker, leadership consultant, and talent creator with a knack for helping people uncover what truly drives them. With over three decades of experience across industries, she’s spent her career helping individuals and teams navigate the messy, human side of leadership—turning self-awareness into a superpower and purpose into performance. As Co-National Director of Potential Project Australia, Jenny partners with organisations like IBM, Deloitte, Accenture, National Australia Bank, Unilever, and Nestlé to help leaders create workplaces that are both high-performing and genuinely human. Grounded in science, research, and a deep understanding of what makes teams tick, she blends sharp insight with skilled facilitation to bring out the best in people. Jenny believes work should be meaningful, leadership should be intentional, and learning should be engaging (and maybe even a little fun). When she’s not helping leaders level up, she’s probably exploring new ideas, watching her daughter fly glider planes, or planning her next big adventure.
Play & Do Session Play your way to purpose
We often get so caught up in the ‘doing’ that we forget why we’re doing it. This interactive session brings purpose back to the forefront in a playful, creative, and thought-provoking way. Using arts and craft materials – playdough, coloured cards, googly eyes, and more – we will explore the deeper motivations behind our work.
Through storytelling and hands-on exercises, participants will reconnect with what truly matters to them. I’ll share key insights from my own journey and the transformative power of purpose in navigating challenges.
Using the craft material provided, participants will create something tangible to reflect a given scenario, then engage in deep listening and coaching exercises with peers to unlock new insights.
Blending science with creativity, this session will show why purpose isn’t just good for individuals – it’s essential for organisations. Expect an experience that is engaging, eye-opening, and unexpectedly fun!
