About Kate McCormack
Kate McCormack holds a dual role at Bayer Pharmaceuticals as Head of Marketing and Commercial Operations for Bayer ANZ, and Commercial Excellence Lead for APAC. This involves leading a broad team of professional subject matter experts as well as new recruits, and building the capability of her function across APAC for the future needs of the organisation.
As a member of the senior leadership team for 4 years, over the past three years she has led the transformation of the organisation, from heavily process-driven and hierarchical, to an Agile, flat structure, where her own role as a leader has significantly shifted. This has taught her valuable lessons in her leadership journey, and she believes it has helped her understand what adds value as a leader in the 21st century.
