Alanna Cresp Agile Practices Chapter Lead, ANU

About Alanna Cresp
Alanna’s career began in neuroscience, but she quickly realised she was more energised by transforming systems than studying neurons. She joined the Australian Public Service’s Innovation Division, where she discovered that STEM logic, human behaviour, and digital transformation make a surprisingly powerful trio. For nearly a decade she pushed the boundaries of what Agile can look like in government, from team-level delivery to portfolio planning. Now working in higher education, she applies those same muscles to redesign how universities operate. Alanna specialises in value-based decision-making and building teams that are both high-performing and high-trust. She has led multiple attempts to shift large organisations toward an agile mindset and learned as much from the hard ones as she has the successful.
