Ashley Rankin
About Ashley Rankin
Ashley Rankin is a Product Manager at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC), managing the ABC Listen App and triple j Apps – ABC’s mobile audio streaming platforms for audiences across Australia. Ashley works at the intersection of public media and technology, helping shape how Australians enjoy some of the best, most trusted Australian audio content every day.

Starting out in user experience design before moving into product, Ashley has had the privilege of working with organisations including the Museum of Contemporary Art, Gumtree, the National Mental Health Commission, and the National Gallery of Australia.

Ashley sees a convergence between her training in counselling and her role as a product manager. So much of a product manager’s impact comes from understanding people, be that the audience or the team, getting a better sense of what motivates them, and being the enabler to help make change happen.
