AgileAus23 Speaker Criteria

It is super quick and easy to submit! You simply log-in to the submission system and provide a brief outline of your proposed 30-minute talk or 5-minute Lightning talk – with the option to include a link to a short 2-minute video summarising your EOI and giving us an insight into your passion for the topic.

Speaking Criteria to consider

Tell stories

We want to hear personal examples and would love your talk to tell us how you tackled and overcame a giant challenge or solved a big problem.

Explain why you

Can you articulate why the audience will love to hear from you? What is it you bring to this presentation that is uniquely your own or your organisation’s experience? Stories from peers are so valuable for us to hear, so tell us about why your story matters.

Share takeaways

What are attendees going to learn from your talk? The best way to tell us what the audience is going to learn is to tell us what you will share about what you have learnt! Is your talk going to equip an audience to share clear takeaways with their teams and organisations as soon as they get back work?

Intention

Why do you want to speak at AgileAus? What is your motivation? If you are new to speaking and want to give it a go, flag it so we can support you. Are you open to a learning experience? Then show reviewers by engaging in the submissions process and taking on any feedback.

Program streams

When you submit to speak you will be asked to select an AgileAus Stream where the topic of your talk best sits. These streams help reviewers review the large number of submissions likely to be received. If you are unsure what stream best fits your talk we can help you. And it is always good to have a look at what topics other people are submitting so you can see where the gaps are.
