Why Attend AgileAus26?
At AgileAus26 we will share stories – on stage, over coffee, and in the hallways.
In person there’s a different kind of honesty: a willingness to admit uncertainty, to ask better questions, to speak openly about the hard stuff. Stories will be shared from people working in sectors far from your own: retail, pharma, banking, utilities. These stories will shift your thinking on everything from trust and leadership to AI and work design. At AgileAus26 you’ll be reminded of what’s possible when people are empowered to experiment, to iterate, to own their work.
Capability is more than skills
Capability is also a mindset, judgement, and the ability to adapt and deliver value in real time. It shows up in how we manage, how we learn from each other, and how work gets done. And there’s something uniquely powerful about being in a room together at AgileAus – it creates space for learning and for shaping the culture we need to thrive.
Productivity isn’t just about output. Productivity comes from how workplaces are run – what they prioritise, how they empower people, and whether they build trust.
AI is both a shiny promise and a messy reality
Organisations are at wildly different stages on their AI journeys, and many are still unsure how to design work that genuinely delivers. AgileAus26 will help you move beyond hype to grounded conversations about implementation: How are teams using AI? What’s working? What’s not? Where are the blockers? How are we embedding AI into workflows in ways that are useful, ethical, and human?
AgileAus26 will prioritise sharing: “Here’s what we tried,” and “Here’s what we’d do differently next time”, giving attendees the opportunity to hear other perspectives and realise they’re not alone in the challenges they face.
Technology should complement human potential, not replace it. But that only happens if we invest in people — in their development, their ability to adapt, connect, and lead.
Come and invest in yours.

Subject: Approval to attend AgileAus26 – Melbourne, 19–20 May 2026
Dear [Manager’s Name],
I’d like to attend AgileAus26, Australia’s national conference for people working in agile and digital delivery, on 19–20 May 2026 at the MCG in Melbourne. I’m writing to ask for your support.
Why this year in particular
AgileAus26 is focused on something I think is directly relevant to where we are as a team: how organisations are actually making AI work – the practical reality of integrating intelligent tools into how teams deliver. Speakers include practitioners from ABC, ANU, Kmart/Target, Ferocia, Roche, and AGL alongside researchers and leaders working through the same questions we are and many of the same challenges. Full speaker list: agileaustralia.com.au/2026/speakers
What I’ll bring back
I’ll come back with a short summary of the most relevant sessions and conversations – focused on what matters most to our team right now, whether that’s AI integration, delivery, or building capability. I’m also happy to present the key takeaways at our next team meeting.
The investment
Conference ticket: $990 per person – two full days including all sessions, lunches, and closing drinks.
Group discounts available: 10% off for 5+ attendees, 20% off for 10+
Full details: agileaustralia.com.au/2026/register
I believe this is a worthwhile investment in my development and directly relevant to the work our team is doing right now. I’d be grateful for your approval.
Warm regards,
[Your Name]
