EOI Authors

The EOI system is closed (4 March 2019) can I still submit after the deadline?

Please get in touch via eoi@agileaustralia.com.au and we’ll see what we can do!

Who reviews the EOIs?

A dedicated team of 40+ reviewers and stream chairs comprised of agilists from a wide range of organisation types and areas of expertise give feedback to and review EOIs. Some have been involved for over a decade while some are brand new to the game! Anyone in the AgileAus community is welcome to put their hand up and volunteer to be reviewer.

How do reviewers shortlist EOIs?
Each reviewing team does shortlisting in their own way. Typically stream chairs will rally their teams to meet face to face or over the phone, to talk through their must haves, maybes and rejects and come to a general agreement on their must haves. Some teams choose to use spreadsheets or other tools to tally ratings for a shortlist. On the third week of March 2019, stream chairs are to hand over the shortlists for each stream to Slatterys.
How is the final program built?

Under the guidance of the reviewing community, Slatterys works hard to build a program that represents the depth of the Australian Agile community. Special care is taken to ensure constituencies are neither over or under represented; any gaps in must-have topics are covered; and a mixture of tried and true wisdom and novel new ideas are reflected.

You can find out more here »

When will I find out whether my EOI/s were successful or not?
Slatterys will be in touch at the end of March-early April 2019.
How many talks are usually lifted from the EOI process?
Out of the 250+ EOIs about 25 will be selected for the final program (about 1 in 10).
