Iterative dashboards and monitors

Atlassian is all about Agile development—iteratively developing everything from their code to their processes. However, when it came to their dashboards and monitors, they noticed they had a tendency to define but not refine. In this talk, Carmel Hinks will share how Atlassian applied Agile approaches to solve various challenges surrounding the definition and maintenance of some of their operational tooling. She’ll also provide tips to help you do the same.

About Carmel Hinks

Carmel Hinks is a Sydney-based software engineer who joined Atlassian in 2015. She received her B.Sc degree in software engineering from Curtin University, where she also spent several years teaching students about application and database design. Since realising her passion for systems architecture, Carmel has specialised in the development and maintenance of highly critical platform services.
