is an approach to work initially used to deliver working software.
In 2001 The Agile Manifesto was created to unify Agile ideals and subsequently changed software development forever. Over the decades since its creation, the 12 principles have been embraced by countless individuals, teams, and organisations.
Agile celebrates the small autonomous team, working together on the smallest chunk of work to deliver customer value through continuous feedback and experimentation.
is the national Agile two-day Conference held annually since 2009, alternating between Melbourne and Sydney and often attracting a full-house of up to 1000.
AgileAus unites those exploring an ‘Agile’ approach under the broad umbrella of better ways of working.
AgileAus is guided by the brainstrust comprising volunteer members of the AgileAus community who provide advice on themes and topics to help shape the content and program and help review and guide and champion the successful talks to make sure that they are the very best they can be. AgileAus is proud to be a broad church that reflects all flavours of Agile in a program comprised of keynotes, invited speakers and those that come through the Expression of Interest (EOI) process..
AgileAus is proudly supported by the international Agile Alliance and run by Slatterys.
Over two content-laden days at AgileAus24, you will have the opportunity to hear mind-stretching sessions from show-stopping keynotes and bright local minds – and connect with the curious group of passionate individuals who make up the Australian Agile community.

Networking with your peers is a key component of AgileAus which is nourished by a social program that includes games and activities in the Open Space to break the ice, the Community Dinner (ticketed event, end of Day 1) and the Closing Drinks at the end of day 2 (complimentary for all attendees).
Around 40% of those attending past AgileAus conferences have identified as ‘new to Agile’, and either attend as lone rangers or come along as part of a team to benefit from the 10% discount for groups of 5 or more. Most attendees hail from areas such as telcos, finance, insurance, nimble startups and non-profits to digital businesses and government – representing all the way from clients to consultants.
