Session Intent based agility - beyond monkey see, monkey do

You may have heard that Agile is dead or has failed. How can this be? We know Agile works and adds enormous value. Why is Agile seen to have failed? Why do senior executives shy away from even using words like Agile or Transformation? What on earth happened? Why have we gone so far off track?

Over the last 5-10 years, we have seen a steady degradation in applying core Agile concepts, practices, and techniques, which are now loosely called Agile ways of working. The original lightweight and practical approaches have become copy-paste rulesets brought to us by large consultancies and tool sellers.

This session will peel back the veneer of mediocrity and lean into Agile quality. I will take you beyond the mass-produced playbooks ™ to look deeper into the ‘INTENT’ and ‘WHY’ behind many key Agile events and concepts. There is enormous value to be gained when key concepts and techniques are understood and done correctly.

It is time we reclaimed what Agile and Agility are about.
