Leading with Empathy Through Change = Creating innovative intelligent organisations

Organisational restructures and Agile transformations face many challenges along the way to reach their indented benefits. Leaders are presented with increasing pressure to remain competitive and to build a better, faster, cheaper business and simultaneously are challenged with guiding others towards this new world.

In this talk we will explore what it takes to lead people and organisations with empathy and provide practical methods, steps, and tools to provide the conditions for systemic change to occur. Drawing on ORSC (Organisational Relationship and Systems Coaching) methods we will delve into the conditions that need to be present for change to occur and what it takes to cross the edge – the tipping point when people move to the new reality.

We will explore systems coaching practices that bring forward alignment enabling people to stretch their awareness of the system, building empathy for the diversity of experiences that people have when change occurs. Once understanding and appreciation of different perspectives, attitudes and beliefs is acknowledged it creates the conditions for the system to shift towards its new reality.

Attend this talk to:

  • Hear practical guidance on the setting up the ground conditions for change to be successful
  • Get introduced to systems coaching methods that build the bridge between the current and new reality
  • Gain insights and practical tips and into what is holding people back and what makes them move along the change curve
  • Learn to recognise when a team, and/or organisation is on the edge of change and techniques to move people towards the new reality
  • Understand how to build empathy for yourself to understand where you are on your own change journey.
