About Benjamin Chee

Benjamin Chee is a longtime Agile practitioner, having helped and mentored Agile teams ranging from fintech and telcos to academia and government, and continues to do so in a senior role for a major banking corporation. In 2022, Benjamin was inducted into the RPG Geek Hall of Fame.

Session Agility and the Art of Wargame Design

The art of wargaming is a unique confluence of mathematics, history, strategy and storytelling. Blending these disciplines together to create a tabletop wargame is a process of adaptive methods, fast feedback loops, experimentation and emergent design, which will no doubt be familiar to many in the audience.

Join Benjamin Chee as he takes you through a real-life case study which follows the creation of a tactical board game from inception to publication over 2.5 years. This presentation will be of interest not just for historical and boardgaming hobbyists, but for anyone who might enjoy a brief detour into the esoteric art and craft of wargame design in the hands of an agilist.
