Talent Community Lead

Panel: Exploring future wellbeing

Abena Ofori
Abena Ofori is the Talent Community Lead at Who Gives A Crap – a fast growing social impact startup that makes eco-friendly toilet paper (as well as tissues and paper towels) and donates 50% of profits to help build toilets for the 2 billion people in need (donating over $8.3 million to date). She believes that for businesses to do good, they must reflect on their impact on society, the environment, and most of all their people. She has found her dream role working in the People and Culture team at Who Give A Crap to build a broad, diverse and thriving business community that contributes to and supports our growth. Abena brings a weird and wonderful background to the world of talent – previously working in or with mission driven startups. She has built programs, networks, communities and experiences for people in the high-growth startup, corporate, not for profit, accelerator and higher education sectors – honing her program design and project management skills along the way.
