About Anna Fiofilova

Anna Fiofilova grew up in the Ukraine and from early on developed a keen interest in mathematics and was lucky enough to learn basic programming at school. This resulted in her enrolling to study Computer Systems at Networks at her local university and completing a Masters degree. Anna moved to Melbourne in 2012 (just before the Higgs Boson was discovered) and joined ThoughtWorks, where she learned about gender diversity, what ‘Agile’ really means, and had the chance to work with a great group of smart people. Then Anna joined REA Group, there for eight years she honed her technical and leadership skills leading local and distributed teams. Anna now works in MYOB as Engineering manager and helps her teams design and build complex software solutions , learn and have fun.
