Christian Scalco has been working in and around software delivery teams in Italy and Australia for over 16 years, and most of these years in the banking sector. Starting as a back-end software engineer in the earlier stages of his career, he soon became passionate about the web development space and was involved in multiple small to large projects that gradually led to his transition to project manager, then product owner and finally scrum master. Coming from a development background, Christian has always been interested in programming languages and technology. When expanding that passion towards the Agile world, Christian has however kept the door open to technology and is always exploring synergies between his passions, which is all about becoming a passionate agilist focused in also helping his team removing technical barriers. He believes that building amazing teams starts with growing individuals by developing their strengths and passions and that those can be complemented by the technology that can help us all so much in everyday life.
